Tablet based image annotation tool.
Description
In our research group we have a lot of tasks where we need a statistical evaluation of the performance of our algorithm, to do this we need a ground truth to compare it to. In order to generate the ground truth manual annotation is required, as this is easily quite a cumbersome tasks we would like to be able to delegate this task to others.
We would therefore like to have a system for annotation running on a tablet which we can give to the person performing the annotation which enables the person to annotate images, while the results are automatically transferred to our servers. The project is therefore to create a tool which both eases the task of annotation (typically drawing the outline of different object in a scene and specifying to which category a object belongs) and allows for 3rd party annotations.
