Outdoor Kinect.
Description
Since the Microsoft Kinect came out in late 2010 it has been a very popular sensor for usage in robotics and is also used in the Willow garage PR2 and Turtlebot. However currently the Kinect is limited for indoor usage as the pattern projected by the laser is to weak when having to compete with direct sunlight. We would like to see, if the design can be modified for outdoor usage.
